CancelPMI only collects the information needed to estimate PMI eligibility and follow up with you about your inquiry.
When you use the calculator, we collect the property address, the mortgage details you enter (such as purchase price, current value, loan balance, monthly PMI, loan type, and payment history), and the contact information you provide when you request a review (name, email, and an optional phone number).
We use your mortgage inputs to estimate PMI eligibility and potential savings, and we use your contact details so a CancelPMI reviewer can check your information and follow up about your PMI inquiry by email, phone, or text. We are a lead-generation and review service; we do not currently process payments or mail cancellation letters as part of this flow.
We use Mapbox to power address autocomplete on the calculator, and we host the site and store submitted leads with Render. Payment processing and physical letter mailing are not active in the current version of the service, so those third parties are not part of the live data flow.
We retain the information you submit so a CancelPMI reviewer can check your situation and reach out about next steps. If you would like us to remove your information or stop contacting you, reply to any message from us or contact us through the site and we will honor the request.
